How to Get the Fleuve Cendre Ferryman in Genshin Impact
Collecting weapons in Genshin Impact can become quite expensive, given that most of them can only be acquired through the wish banner. And for casual and free-to-play players, choosing free or craftable weapons often proves to be the wisest decision. This way, they can instead allocate their primogems to character banners in order to quickly form the ideal team for exploration and Spiral Abyss. Fortunately, the Fleuve Cendre Ferryman is one of them.
As for this weapon, there is only one way to obtain it, and fishing plays a vital role in it.
Unlock Fishing
Obtaining the Fleuve Cendre Ferryman will be impossible without earning the ability to fish. For players who haven’t unlocked it yet, they must first complete the ‘Exploding Population’ quest, which becomes available at Adventure Rank 28.
Collect Fish in Fontaine’s Fishing Locations
Fontaine has many fishing spots to choose from, as seen in the picture below. Simply head towards any of these locations and obtain the right species.

Go to the Fontaine Fishing Association
After finally obtaining all the required materials, players must head towards the Fontaine Fishing Association and search for Delaroche, the Fontaine Angler. They can use either of the two teleport waypoints nearby to reach her.
For those who haven’t unlocked most of the teleport waypoints in Fontaine, there’s an alternative approach. They can begin their journey by boarding the first available aquabus upon arriving in Genshin’s newest region. This aquabus then will bring players to a brand-new area called the Court of Fontaine. Upon reaching this location, head to the third floor and board the Navia Line. When the aquabus approaches a body of water, simply jump off and walk toward the Fontaine Angler.
Interacting with her will display a short list of materials and equipment available in exchange for the required fish species. Each player can only purchase one Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, and unlike typical weapons, this Fontaine Sword follows a unique refinement process.
How to Refine Fleuve Cendre Ferryman in Genshin Impact
For players that are aiming to further enhance their weapon, refining it shall be their next step. Doing so will require a special refinement material called the “Martens’ Omni-Fix”.
